Up until the previous round, Scunthorpe were the only undefeated team in the league, but Carlisle managed to hand them their first loss with a narrow 0-1 win on Scunthorpe’s home ground.

That defeat may actually help relieve some pressure and allow Scunthorpe to get back to their winning ways, especially given their stellar defensive record. They currently boast one of the top three defenses in the league, conceding only 10 goals overall and just 4 at home in six matches, a mark matched by only a few teams, including Forest Green, Rochdale, Southend, and Hartlepool.

Morecambe, on the other hand, has the league’s weakest defense, having conceded 33 goals in just 11 matches. They are in poor form, sitting near the bottom of the table, winless in their last four games, and without a single away victory this season.
