Israel endured a disappointing Nations League campaign, but they ended the year on a high note with a big win over Belgium one of the few positives to take forward.

They’ll be looking to carry that momentum into the opening match of this new qualification group, where they face an Estonia side struggling at both ends of the pitch. Estonia have failed to score in four of their last five matches and have conceded seven goals in that span.

With Estonia’s ongoing defensive and attacking issues, Israel have a great opportunity to start strong. If they can replicate the level of performance they showed against Belgium, a win here would be an ideal launchpad for their campaign.
